Edited by Travel Weekly

Yacht expedition cruise line, Atlas Ocean Voyages, announced its 2026 Arctic season with new ports, shorter six and seven-night itineraries, and pre-cruise hotel stays.

The new 2026 program is available through small ship cruising specialist, Cruise Traveller, the exclusive Australian and New Zealand representative for Atlas Ocean Voyages.

The World Voyager and World Navigator set sail on the new season features remote ports such as Skjoldungen Island in Greenland. The Norwegian islands of Svalbard are restricted for larges ships, but Atlas’ small yachts with less than 200 guests can explore the remote region. All expeditions departing from Longyearbyen on Svalbard and Kangerlussuaq in Greenland include the pre-cruise hotel.

“Atlas Ocean Voyages continues to leverage our smaller size to expand expedition experiences including exploring Svalbard, which will soon not be accessible to larger ships with stringent restrictions,” Atlas Ocean Voyages CEO, James A. Rodriguez, said. “I am enthused by the Arctic program the team has assembled for the 2026 season, especially these sailings, which enable guests to explore the most remote regions.”
