Australian Cycle Tours has announced a 2024 price freeze for all 2025 departure dates and introduced two new “Short Break” cycle trips for guests with limited time.

The price freeze is on until 31 August 2024 for departures from 1 January to 31 December 2025, with expected savings for up to 10 per cent on 2024 rates. Travellers can take advantage of the price freeze offer to lock in bookings on the most popular bike tours and save on future price increases.

  • Clare Valley Cycle Premium Explorer 5-days self-guided cycle trip
    Explore South Australia’s wine region, cycling the full length of both the Reisling and Rattler Rail Trails from $1,270 per person.
  • Capertee Valley in Comfort 4-days self-guided cycle trip
    Cycle through the beautiful Capertee Valley along quite country roads and enjoy friendly hospitality of local hosts from $1,925 per person.
  • Kosciuszko to the Sea 8-days self-guided cycle trip
    Cycle from Australia’s highest point through the Snowy Mountains National Park to the Sapphire Coast from $2,350 per person.
  • Great Victorian Rail Trail 4-days self-guided cycle trip
    Explore historic towns, sample local food and wine, and cycle through Victoria’s longest rail tunnel from $1,825 per person.

New Short Breaks in NSW

Australian Cycle Tours introduced two new “Short Break” cycle trips, one in the Tweed Valley in Northern NSW and another in Mudgee, west of Sydney.

“We’ve created these two new tours to appeal to travellers with limited time to give them the opportunity to take a unique break in spectacular, easily accessible areas,” brand manager, Erin Wilemanm said. “Mudgee and the Tweed are on the top of our popular regions list so we are confident these trips will be an ideal short break to experience two incredible and quite different areas of NSW.”

  • Northern Rivers Rail Trail and Tweed Coast Short Break – from $990 per person
    Three days and two nights including electric bike use. Cycling is on two days of rail trail/bike path and the last day on quiet roads. Two nights in Murwillumbah, one night at Kingscliff departing Saturday to Wednesday.
  • Mudgee Cycle Short Break – from $790 per person
    Three days and two nights including electric bike use. Two nights’ accommodation at the Parkview Hotel (or similar) in Mudgee with departures from Tuesday to Saturday.
