The resort dedicated over six hectares of land to create a garden oasis where resort guests can enjoy a delightfully sensory nature experience. Derived from Sanskrit, “teva” signifies “divine” or “godly,” thus Tevana refers to a place of divine connection. This is felt on arrival at Tevana Garden, where visitors are greeted by a striking water feature at the entrance plaza. A narrow, winding pathway leads guests into a realm of natural wonder where sounds fade to chirping birds, a gentle breeze in the trees, and footsteps on the pebbled path beneath.

This lush, green sanctuary invites visitors to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, enhancing the serene tropical atmosphere of AYANA Bali to ensure a truly restorative holiday for every guest. It boasts a versatile 3,200sqm outdoor event space for up to 1,000 guests, ideal for hosting unforgettable weddings, corporate events, or any large gathering seeking to embrace Bali’s tropical beauty.

Tevana Garden was designed by Kazuma Hasegawa, co-representative, landscape architect, and professor at Kyoto University of the Arts, together with Maiko Shiromizu, co-representative and landscape architect, both from SAHA Landscape Design Office, based in Osaka, Japan.

While celebrating Bali’s natural beauty, the garden subtly integrates Japanese influences, as seen in its careful layout, precise measurements of pathways and structures, and meticulous gardening. The result is a harmonious fusion of simplicity and natural beauty, featuring terraced landscapes, gentle flowing streams, sparkling waterfalls, and local white limestone formations. Together, these elements create a tranquil and meditative environment, inviting visitors to experience the calming effects of its design principles.

Whether you’re planning an unforgettable event, or looking for a serene escape, AYANA Bali, with the addition of Tevana Garden, offers an experience that is truly nature-centered, allowing guests to disconnect and rejuvenate during their holiday.”

Enhancing the cultural experience, Tevana Garden is conveniently located next to the SAKA Museum, AYANA Bali’s cultural hub and learning precinct. By combining these experiences with other activities on the property, such as traditional dance at Kampoeng Bali, a jamu workshop at AYANA Farm, or boreh treatment at AYANA Spa, guests can enjoy a rich Balinese cultural immersion. This unique combination allows guests to merge their appreciation for art and culture with the restorative power of nature.
