Biggest discount yet for travel agents with 20 per cent off nib Travel policies
Edited by Travel Weekly

nib Travel has announced its biggest discount yet for travel agents who can offer clients 20 per cent off all domestic and international nib Travel insurance policies just in time for Black Friday.

nib Travel general manager international & partnerships, Dylan Wilkinson, said by offering the discount to agents until 3 December, nib Travel aims to deliver value for travellers looking to plan their next adventure.

“We’re pleased to offer this discount to assist agents in meeting their clients’ demand for affordable travel insurance. The 20 per cent discount allows agents to respond to the spending habits we’re seeing in the market, while adding considerable value at this busy booking time,” Wilkinson said.

“The cautious spending mindset we’re seeing in consumers means there is a greater emphasis on practical purchases like travel insurance. nib Travel’s Black Friday promotion aims to address this shift, enabling travel agents to offer their clients a timely, value-driven option as they book end-of-year holidays.”

Agents can use the discount code JET20 when getting a quote to take advantage of the offer.

Nature Sydney’s survey of 1022 Australians conducted in August 2024, revealed 58 per cent of Australians will participate in this year’s Black Friday sales, on par with last year’s high numbers. However, many consumers, particularly those in the under 30 age group (63 per cent), are planning to spend more selectively and reduce non-essential purchases.
