Edited by Travel Weekly

Brand USA is reminding ANZ agents that entries for its Sports Odyssey Road Trip Famil Incentive are closing on Wednesday, 15 January 2025.

Brand USA has teamed up with Arizona Office of Tourism, Delta Air Lines, Infinity Holidays, Sports Where I Am, and Alamo Rent-A-Car to offer agents in Australia and New Zealand an exclusive famil opportunity. Traveling from 28 February to 8 March 2025, eight lucky agents can get the opportunity to attend exciting sporting events in Las Vegas and Phoenix, before taking to the open road and exploring a section of the iconic Route 66 in Nevada and Arizona.

Key itinerary elements include:

  • Kick off the adventure with a thrilling game at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. Then, agents will be immersed in the high-octane excitement of the NBA, cheering on the Phoenix Suns from prime seats.
  • Stay in five-star luxury on the iconic Las Vegas Strip at Encore Las Vegas, part of the renowned Wynn Resorts. The group will be treated to the mesmerizing ‘Awakening’ production, a spectacular blend of mind-bending illusions, spellbinding music, intricate dance and breathtaking puppetry, all set in one of the most technologically advanced theaters in the world.
  • Agents will take to the open road thanks to Alamo Rent-A-Car, exploring a section of the iconic Route 66 – celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2026. The group can immerse themselves in what makes the USA’s road tripping culture so incredible; from the freedom to explore at the traveller’s own pace, to discovering off the beaten track towns, experiences, and local legends.
  • In Arizona, the experience shifts to the serene beauty of Sedona, where agents can unwind with a tranquil desert meditation amidst the stunning red rock landscapes renowned for their spiritual energy. The journey culminates in Flagstaff with a visit to an open-air observatory, for a stargazing experience in one of the world’s premier dark-sky locations.
  • The group flies to the USA in comfort with Delta Air Lines, taking advantage of the 40+ one stop connections Delta offers across the USA to arrive in Las Vegas.

How to enter:

  • Agents need to ensure they are a silver status holder or higher with the USA Discovery Program, the USA’s learning and sales resource program for travel agents.
  • For agents that have already achieved silver status, there are additional chances to secure a spot on this incredible famil. Agents can complete or retain the Alamo specialist badge on USA Discovery Program to secure one additional entry; make an air booking to the USA with Delta Air Lines to earn an entry; and make a land booking from Australia or New Zealand to mainland USA with Infinity Holidays to earn double entries.
  • Agents can complete their badges and log their bookings via the USA Discovery Program before 15 January 2025 for their chance to win.
