Edited by Travel Weekly

In collaboration with Business Events Sydney and Destination NSW, Capella Sydney is set to showcase its exceptional luxury accommodation, historic event spaces, and curated cultural immersion experiences at The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2024 in Melbourne this month.

As the premier trade event for the meetings and events industry in the Asia Pacific region, AIME serves as a pivotal platform for global industry decision-makers to connect, create, and foster business relationships.

Nestled within Sydney’s historic Sandstone Precinct, within metres of the iconic harbour foreshore and housed in the original Department of Education building, the award-winning Capella Sydney seamlessly integrates storied architectural features with a modern design aesthetic, captivating guests since its grand opening in March 2023.

“As we approach the one-year mark since our grand opening, Capella Sydney continues to lead in luxury not only in Sydney but across Australia,” director sales and marketing, Capella Sydney, Nicolena Oborn, said.

“AIME provides the ideal platform to showcase our bespoke luxury offerings for corporate groups, incentives, and business events through our Culturist Program, which is designed to create meaningful and impactful experiences for our guests to help foster cultural understanding and collaboration.”

Capella Sydney’s team of passionate Capella Culturists curate extraordinary experiences and personalised journeys inspired by the hotel’s captivating surroundings. Combining knowledge, empathy, and respect for Sydney’s history, the Culturists collaborate with guests and meeting delegates to create ‘Capella Moments’—experiences designed to last a lifetime.

The meeting and event spaces at Capella Sydney blend historic charm with modern amenities, accommodating events from intimate meetings to conferences for up to 80 persons. Featuring high ceilings, abundant natural light, and state-of-the-art conferencing equipment, these spaces provide an unrivalled backdrop for conferences, meetings, private dining experiences, and weddings.

AIME is scheduled to take place from 19 – 21 February 2024 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Capella Sydney will be exhibiting under the Business Events Sydney stand (D20), joining forces with Destination NSW to present a united city experience.
