Celestyal launches land package travel agent tool

Celestyal launches land package travel agent tool
Edited by Travel Weekly

Celestyal has launched a new travel agent tool allowing trade partners to book cruise and land packages for their guests.

The new functionality, available via Celestyal’s trade agent booking system, gives agents the ability to book pre- and post-cruise hotel stays with transfers included.

All hotels offered are four-star and above, with private transfers to and from the airport, hotel and port available.

The service is available for 2024 sailings and currently included on a number of itineraries departing from Athens, including the three and four-night ‘Iconic Aegean’, the seven-night ‘Idyllic Aegean’, the seven-night ‘Steps of Paul’ and the seven-night ‘Heavenly Adriatic’ itineraries. Plans are in place to expand the offering to the Arabian Gulf in due course.

Janet Parton, VP of business development at Celestyal, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce this new tool allowing our trade partners to offer even more comprehensive and personalised experiences for their clients. By allowing agents to seamlessly book cruise and land packages, including high-quality hotel stays and private transfers, we’re enhancing the overall value and convenience of the Celestyal experience”.

Celestyal is not the only cruise company to expand its offering to include add-ons around the cruise.

Ponant recently launched its brand-new Fly, Stay & Cruise packages for the 2025 Kimberley season. The package includes return flights, airport transfers and one night pre-cruise accommodation.

Earlier this year, Oceana Cruises announced it will be offering guests a free pre-cruise hotel stay on a range of sailings throughout late 2024 and 2025.
