Celestyal team’s evening of entertainment before Opera House show

The Celestyal Cruises team hosted an evening of canapés and drinks for travel agents and select media before heading to the Andrew Lloyd Webber production of Sunset Boulevard, starring Sarah Brightman, at the Opera House.

Present from the UK were chief commercial officer Lee Haslett and VP for business development Janet Parton, as well as regional manager Stewart Williams and local BDM Mary Williams.

For Parton and Haslett it was a first visit inside the Opera House, with Parton having admired it from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, during her BridgeClimb experience earlier in the week and Haslett having jogged around it.

Parton and Haslett were also excited about selling Australians Celstyal’s new itineraries to the Middle East, given SmartTraveller has just lowered its alert to visiting the region. Celstyal has announced savings of up to 50 per cent off Greek Isles, Adriatic and Arabian Gulf cruises across its 2025, 2026 and early 2027 itineraries.

“Our new ‘Heavenly Spring Sailings’ campaign offers some fantastic savings across our full year-round program,” Haslett said.

“Whether you want to soak up some sun on beautiful beaches and immerse in the enticing history of the Greek Isles, or explore the exotic Arabian Gulf, there’s something for everyone. Plus, at Celestyal we know cruises are best shared with loved ones, and with incredible savings on third and fourth guests too, we’re saying the more the merrier!”

The offer is available for bookings made until October 31, 2024, and includes reductions of up to 60 per cent on third and fourth guests sharing a cabin.

Savings are available on more than 120 itineraries ranging from three to seven nights across the Greek Isles, Adriatic and Arabian Gulf, including:

  • A four-night mid-week ‘Iconic Aegean’ cruise, sailing roundtrip from Athens, calling at Mykonos, Kusadasi (Ephesus), Patmos, Rhodes and Santorini, now starts from $809* per person twin share;
  • A seven-night ‘Heavenly Adriatic’ cruise, sailing roundtrip from Athens and calling at Kefalonia, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Venice or Bari, Corfu and Katakolo, now starts from $1189* per person twin share;
