Club Med opens Kiriro Grand, offers 30% off bookings
Following the opening of Club Med Kiroro Peak last December, Club Med will officially open Club Med Kiroro Grand on 1 December 2023.
This will allow agents to offer their clients eager to explore an elevated winter holiday experience in the heart of Hokkaido.
To celebrate the opening of its brand new Japan resort, agents can now secure the best price guaranteed with special introductory rates on dates across the resort’s first season.
For a limited time, Club Med is offering up to 30 per cent off from AU$2622 per adult (save $1124) for seven nights with discounts applied on travel dates from 1 December 2023 to 14 June 2024.
Club Med Kiroro Grand will join Club Med Kiroro Peak, located just a 5-minute gondola ride apart, as the brand’s sole mountain destination in Asia which offers spring skiing till May, as well as night and off-piste skiing with new trails to discover.
“We are thrilled to be opening our second resort in this stunning destination following the successful opening of Club Med Kiroro Peak last December,” Rachael Harding, chief executive officer, East and South Asia & Pacific Markets, said.
“With specially designed kids club spaces, facilities and programmes powered by our international, enigmatic G.Os, families can truly enjoy a hassle-free vacation, with time for all to indulge in the pristine beauty of Kiroro.”
Club Med Kiroro Grand is designed with an enchanted forest theme that will bring the great outdoors in. After being greeted by the elevated grand lobby, each of the resort’s 266 guestrooms will effortlessly integrate natural finishes and rich Japanese influence inspired by an enriching narrative of a mythical journey up the mountains.
Club Med Kiroro Grand will offer direct access to an untouched ski domain with 23 courses for all levels and pristine off-piste ski slopes across both the Asari and Nagamine mountains. Ski and lift passes will be made ready upon arrival, so no time is wasted to explore the magnificent ski slopes.
Group ski and snowboard lessons are included with every stay and are tailored to all age groups and skill levels with guidance from dedicated professional ski Gentils Organisateurs (G.Os) to help guests make the most of their winter holidays.
Après-ski the Hokkaido way at Club Med Kiroro Grand with the brand’s first traditional Japanese onsen complete with a cedar-wood sauna, a hot stone room and a dedicated wellness lounge, brand-new restaurant and bar concepts, all-day entertainment, indoor swimming pool and more.
Families will feel right at home with a myriad of family-friendly activities and amenities, including a dedicated Kids Club for children aged 2 to 17. The award-winning Amazing Family! programme further creates opportunities for families to bond through fun-filled activities as well as outdoor adventures in the powdery snow with snowshoe experiences, an outdoor playground area and a snow garden for the little ones.
Club Med Kiroro Grand will also offer the discovery of Hokkaido less travelled. Spend a day at Otaru Coastal Town, located 40 minutes away from the resort, and learn about the port city’s rich history with glasswork, oil lamp and music box manufacturing; savour the fresh flavours of the sea at the local fish market and sip on Hokkaido’s finest whiskey brewed using traditional distillation at Yoichi Distillery which was founded in 1934.
Those who are feeling adventurous can saddle up for a scenic horseback ride to discover the beauty of Hokkaido’s winter too.
