Cruise Traveller reveals new savings on ‘Northern Lights Express’ package
The Northern Lights are on display in February, 2024 with Cruise Traveller offering savings for couples and solos for bookings made by March 31, 2023.
Exclusive to Aussies, Cruise Traveller’s 17-night ‘Northern Lights Express’ package is being offered in conjunction with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Cruise Traveller is the exclusive Australian representative for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.
Offering a holiday option for Valentines’ Day, the winter Norway holiday begins on February 10, 2024, with an included flight from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth to London. Three nights in the UK capital are included along with a free, full-day sightseeing tour of London. Guests then board Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’, 1325-guest ship, Balmoral, for a 14-night voyage to the top of Norway and back.
The Balmoral features panoramic restaurants and lounges, open promenades and two pools, and will take guests to the winter wonderland of Norway with its snow-iced villages, peaks, fjords, iced waterfalls, wild rivers, wildlife and pine forests. Venturing beyond the Arctic Circle all the way to North Cape at the top of Europe, the voyage visits the less-frequented towns of Narvik, Bodo, Tromso, Alesund, Stavanager and Alta with a chance to meet the local Sami people, ride a husky-drawn sled and see the Northern Lights dance in the dark skies above the Arctic wilderness.
After returning to London, guests fly home to Australia.
