EVT is the new operator of the Alex Hotel, including its renowned Shadow Wine Bar and Dining Room, complementing its continued hotel expansion in Perth.

Alex Hotel is celebrated for its unique, individually crafted experience that blends sophisticated relaxation with local charm. The 74-bedroom hotel features an industrial vibe, locally sourced amenities and hand sculpted bathroom ceramics by artist Simone Nabhlz.

Meanwhile, Shadow Wine Bar and Dining Room, located next door on Willam St and set behind a classical 1950s facade, is known for its food and beverage offerings, including home-style cooking.

“This appointment reflects EVT”s dedication to delivering exceptional and personalised guest experiences, driven by our flexible operational model and strong local presence. We look forward to enhancing the distinctive character of The Alex and the celebrated reputation of Shadow Wine Bar, further establishing EVT’s footprint across Perth.”

Alex Hotel owners Cicero Management, supported by advisors JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group, welcomed EVT in managing the venue.

“EVT’s track record of success and their commitment to agile operations and local brands were key factors in our decision,” it said in a statement. “We are confident that EVT will honour the unique character of Alex Hotel whilst elevating the overall guest experience and continue the tradition of excellence at Shadow Wine Bar.”
