Sue Graham takes on Head of Air Contracting at Helloworld Limited
Helloworld Limited has appointed of Sue Graham as Head of Air Contracting, following the departure of Paul Hollingshead, who finished with Helloworld last week.
Graham will join Helloworld on April 18, reporting directly to Stan Scott, Head of Commercial and brings with her more than 35 years’ experience in the travel industry, most recently as General Manager, Supplier Partnerships at CT Partners.
Prior to that, Graham worked at Stella / JTG for six years in senior contracting roles and has also
held senior positions with Travelocity and Flight Centre.
“Sue brings a wealth of business, operational and industry knowledge to this critical role and
it is very pleasing to see her coming back to Helloworld after a four year absence. Sue has a
proven track record in establishing and managing supplier relationships and delivering for
both our distribution businesses and our supplier partners” Helloworld CEO Andrew
Burnes.
Cox & Kings welcome new National Account Manager
Andrew Eddy has been appointed the new National Account Manager for Cox & Kings group with the responsibility to provide support for partners and agents across the NSW and ACT territories.
Celebrating 10 years in the industry this year, Eddy also helped to develop My Adventure Travel under the guidance of now CEO of Cox & Kings Australia and New Zealand, Damian Perry.
While at My Adventure Travel, Eddy successfully opened the Westfield Sydney Pitt St and Neutral Bay stores, managing successful teams in his role as Team Leader and eventually NSW Senior Team Leader, assisting with overseeing the success of all Sydney MAS stores (6 stores).
Eddy will manage a support network for agents through a dedicated service centre, online learning and development platform backed with learning modules, live webinars, induction training, product training, and self-paced learning.
Jim Eastwood becomes Travel Counsellors’ Global Sales Director
Jim Eastwood has been appointed global sales director at Travel Counsellors, the provider of bespoke corporate and leisure travel.
Eastwood joins from Groupon, where he held a number of senior leadership roles, and was most recently the firm’s vice-president of sales for the UK and Ireland. In his five years at Groupon, he was instrumental in driving growth for the business, implementing and executing all aspects of sales strategies for leading countries in EMEA. He has a breadth of experience in global markets, having previously held positions across Europe as well as here in Australia and the US.
IHG Appoints Rajit Sukumaran as Chief Development Officer, AMEA
InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Rajit Sukumaran to the role of Chief Development Officer in the Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region.
In his new role, Sukumaran will head the Development team and lead the Group’s growth strategy.
Sukumaran brings more than 12 years’ experience in Development, Acquisitions, Feasibility from his previous role as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Development, Asia Pacific at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
