Four lucky winners revealed for Tourism Solomons latest agent prize!

Tourism Solomons has announced the winners of the $100 prepaid Visa Cards up for grabs as part of the recent ‘Hapi Isles’ Online Specialist Agent Training program relaunch.

The winners are:

Philine Matzner – Brisbane Travel Centre, Moorooka QLD

Hemmy Timotius – Flight Centre Carindale, Moorooka QLD

Molly Horner – Flight Centre Glebe NSW

Lisa Clarke – Travel Associates, North Adelaide SA

Tourism Solomons head of sales & marketing, Fiona Teama said she was delighted with the response to the relaunched program which to date has seen more than 150 industry staff register.

“This really underlines ever-growing interest in the Solomon Islands and mirrors the efforts we are going to in order to create more awareness for our Hapi Isles in the Australian marketplace,” she said.

The relaunched program consists of a series of engaging modules covering cover various aspects of the Solomon Islands, from its unique ‘living’ culture, WWII history, world-class diving, fishing and surfing to its stunning natural beauty and pristine environment.

Teama said the main thrust of the relaunched program is to educate as many industry staff as possible to the opportunities the Solomon Islands offers travellers.

And especially  those looking for new and unique experiences in an unspoiled destination that annually attracts just 30,000 international visitors.

“The initial response to our relaunched training program has been amazing,” Teama continued.

“Our 992-island archipelago offers an unspoiled, authentic and unforgettable travel experience.

“Via this new program, Tourism Solomons aims to educate travel agents on the unique appeal and saleability of the Solomon Islands, positioning it as a truly compelling and very alternative South Pacific destination for their clients.”
