Fusion Hotel Group has opened GLOW Bangkok Riverside, a new hotel overlooking the Thai capital’s Chaophraya River from the city’s Dusit district.

The modern 5-storey property features 126 rooms and suites, ranging from the Superior Room at 19-22sqm to the 40sqm River Suite. All rooms have either king-sized or twin beds, and are tastefully decorated with rich hues, warm wood tones, and colorful accents. The decor creates a welcoming and relaxing environment with luxurious amenities. Each room is air-conditioned and has a 42″ TV, a minibar, and free Wi-Fi, with most having an open-air balcony. River-view suites have floor-to-ceiling windows that provide spectacular views of the bustling river.

Among the other facilities at GLOW are a fitness centre, laundry service, onsite parking, and an outdoor swimming pool that is idyllically situated to offer front-row seats to Bangkok’s famous river life.

The hotel also hosts the Currents Cafe & Bar, an all-day riverfront venue offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It makes for an ideal spot for guests to hold business meetings or simply enjoy drinks and river sunsets.

Fusion Group director of operations in Thailand, Markus Gloor, said: “In unveiling GLOW Bangkok Riverside, we are honored to join the panorama of the Thai capital’s famed river skyline. This is the fourth GLOW property in the city, and we aspire to offer both our new customers and our returning guests a fresh modern experience at a competitive price, but in an area close to the Grand Palace and numerous historical attractions.”

GLOW Bangkok Riverside’s October opening marks the Fusion Hotel Group’s fifth hotel launch in Southeast Asia this year, following the opening of Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang and HIIVE by Fusion Binh Duong New City in Vietnam in July and The Ocean Resort by Fusion Quy Nhon in May. They also launched the Fusion Suites Phuket Patong, its first hillside resort in Thailand.

Our ambition is to increase our regional footprint with an impressive goal of 50 properties by 2028. Our team at Fusion continues to set industry benchmarks, fueled by their passion for innovation and hospitality.”
