GALLERY: LA Tourism, Visit California and Delta Air Lines host Flight Centre Travel crew ahead global seminar
Los Angeles Tourism, Visit California and Delta Air Lines hosted more than 130 Flight Centre Travel Group staff and partners as they kicked off the Road to Global ahead of Flight Centre’s Global Gathering 2025, taking place in Los Angeles 11-13 July.
The Road to Global: LA Destination Seminar, hosted at Flight Centre’s Rooftop Bar in Brisbane, saw the three hosts, all major sponsors of Global Gathering, share their latest product and destination updates to help agents boost their sales, and hopefully qualify to attend the global event when it lands in LA in July 2025.
Guests also enjoyed a selection of LA-inspired cocktails and iconic Californian cuisine and took part in two exciting prize giveaways, including two incredible trips to sunny California. The prizes featured return economy flights from Brisbane to Los Angeles with Delta, along with two nights in LA, tickets to Warner Bros Studio Hollywood and two nights in Santa Barbara California.
“LA Tourism cannot wait to host over 2000+ global Flight Centre Travel Group team members and suppliers in LA for Global Gathering 2025,” Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board Managing Director Asia Pacific, Craig Gibbons, said.
“Our Road to Global event this week in Brisbane in partnership with Visit California, Delta Air Lines and Flight Centre showcased a taste of what only LA can offer. As the sports and entertainment capital and home to more than 30 culturally rich neighborhoods, there’s something on offer for everyone in LA.”
Delta Air Lines Country Manager for Australia & New Zealand, Kelly Clive, said the carrier was thrilled to partner with LA Tourism, Flight Centre and Visit California to showcase the unique opportunities the inaugural Brisbane – Los Angeles service will bring to travellers.
“Educating travel agents is key to ensuring they have the tools and insights for their clients about Delta,” Clive said.
“Los Angeles will host Flight Centre’s 2025 Global Gathering with Delta Air Lines as a premier event partner, underscoring the city’s status as a top destination for both business and leisure. We’re proud to be a part of this incredible journey.”
