Global International Travel (GIT), in collaboration with Belmond, hosted an exclusive evening of storytelling and conversation at the A-Esque Atelier in Melbourne.

The event, moderated by Esquire Australia creative director and Harper’s Bazaar Australia commercial content director, Grant Pearce, brought together Global clients to immerse in Belmond’s philosophy on “The Legendary Art of Travel” and its commitment to connecting discerning travellers with the world’s most extraordinary destinations.

It was unique for the industry, giving Global clients a front row seat and direct introduction to the Belmond brand. It was designed to spotlight the Belmond legacy and how the Global team imbue this in every journey, offering more than just a destination, but a curated experience with meticulous attention to detail.

Held at A-Esque, a local atelier renowned for handmade luxury leather goods, the night was designed to highlight the artistry shared in their craftsmanship and Global’s bespoke travel philosophy. Guests were welcomed with the gentle tapping sound of leathergoods being hand-made and enjoyed hand-crafted canapes by Food Creative. It reinforced the evening’s theme that “the art is in the detail” across every touchpoint.

Grant Pearce opened the event with personal insights into the luxury industry and his experiences with Belmond, sharing anecdotes about his most memorable journeys. He followed by introducing Belmond representatives Prisca Bondi and Katie Metcalfe, who spoke on the brand’s history, the transformative impact of LVMH ownership, and Belmond’s enduring commitment to creating exceptional travel moments. Clients were taken through the diverse portfolio of the Belmond experience, on land, on rail, and on water.

The evening placed an emphasis on Belmond’s strategic partnership with Global International Travel and their Bellini Club membership, which allows them to offer exclusive benefits to their clients, highlighting the synergy between the two brands in delivering unmatched experiences. Guests enjoyed an evening of engaging discussion and were invited to explore the A-Esque Atelier following the presentation.

“At Global International Travel, we’re obsessed with delivering journeys that are nothing short of extraordinary,” Global International Travel founder, Suzanne Duzenman, said.

“Every trip we design is a meticulous blend of luxury, personalisation, and the highest level of service. Our clients deserve unique, life-enriching experiences, and we’re committed to making each one truly unforgettable. Partnering with Belmond allows us to offer our clients unparalleled access to some of the world’s most iconic and storied destinations, elevating their travel experience to new heights.”
