Helloworld bulks up network with new stores

The Helloworld Travel Associate network has had a suite of new stores open or gear up for a fresh launch, expanding the agency’s footprints.

Experience Travel & Cruise in Queensland have recently opened a second location, Peninsula Travel has opened a second location in coastal Victoria and Pursers Travel and Cruise is opening a new location in Kingaroy Queensland very soon.

Director of Experience Travel & Cruise Craig Mathieson said the Helloworld Associate model has allowed him to grow his business to the stage where he is able to open a new store in addition to his  store in Toowoomba, which has been open for over 30 years.

“Being an Associate of Helloworld allows us to stay relevant in the travel market, giving us as small business owners, the confidence to expand on our already successful business” he said.

Peninsula Travel Owner Michele Saunderson said opening a second store was an important step in the agency’s continued growth and success.

“It was always my dream to become the go-to travel advisors for the Peninsula. Now, by opening a second store, we can make that a reality.”

Pursers Travel & Cruise was a start-up business that joined the Helloworld Associate network in July 2016. Owner Felicity Dascombe had just two additional consultants at the time.

“We continue to see our business grow and flourish and now also see it expand through the opening of a 2nd store in Kingaroy in June 2017. It is terrific to be focused on not just sustainability but expansion.”

David Padman, Head of Associate, Corporate and Affiliate networks said it was great to see the strength of the associate network shining through in these new stores.

“It is great to see the confidence that our Helloworld Associate members have in their business and the Helloworld offering. Our members have recommitted to Helloworld for the long term and are taking the opportunity to grow by opening new stores.

“Through the support they are offered by the Associate network they are flourishing and it is just sensational to see.”
