Here’s how you can sell your way to the USA in 2020!

Available to travel agents across Australia, American Airlines and five USA destination partners have announced the 2020 ‘Sell Your Way to the USA’ incentive program.

American Airlines, Visit Anchorage, the Utah Office of Tourism, Travel Nevada, Washington, DC and Grapevine, Texas are teaming up to offer agents an exclusive opportunity to secure a spot on one of five exclusive famil opportunities in August, September, October, or November of 2020 by selling the US destinations.

Travel professionals will receive one point for each round-trip American Airlines return airfare booked to the USA from 11 February through to 19 June 2020, with an additional point being awarded for a PNR that includes Anchorage, Las Vegas, Dallas Fort Worth, Salt Lake City or Washington, DC.

Agents will also receive an additional point for any Anchorage, Nevada, Utah, Grapevine, Texas or Washington, DC land package that is booked. This includes hotel only, coach tours, ski vacations and self-drive packages.

Extra emphasis on destination room nights will be counted this year, and the top 15 agents at the end of the sale period will win their spot on one of the five exclusive land- and air-inclusive famil programs.

Canuckiwi director Corey Marshall said: “This year, we are pleased to announce that our USA destination clients will once again partner with American Airlines, in addition to offering five fantastic land famil programs to be won.

“Agents will have the opportunity to fly in premium economy class with American Airlines out of Sydney as part of this incentive program should they win their way to the USA.”

To participate in this year’s ‘Sell Your Way to the USA’ incentive program, agents must register by 27 March 2020 by emailing Lara Kamionka at lara@canuckiwi.com with their details.

This incentive program will launch at the Visit USA Expos across Australia. The sold-out expos are shaping up to be the best yet, with a host of great entertainment, exceptional sponsors and exhibitors, and (of course) great venues, food and prizes.

Richard Reid will be returning to host the expos in Perth, Adelaide and the Gold Coast, while Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane attendees will get a sneak peek of the upcoming Texas Music Takeover taking place in Sydney in April.

Peruse the full list of exhibitors and presentations on the Visit USA Facebook page and each expo’s Facebook Event page.
