Hotel awards reveal the best of the west

Hotel awards reveal the best of the west

We love a good award ceremony, and the AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence are no different.

Western Australia’s cream of the crop in the hotel and resort industry have been celebrated in a glam gala, and now we’ve got a whole other swag of places on our hotel bucket list.

On Monday 21 August over 500 guests attended the Gala Ball in the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth. They were treated to a night of red and white elegance, dining on gastronomic delights uniquely created by Crown Perth.

AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said WA should be darn proud of all the top notch hotel stays on offer in the state.

“Our reputation as a premier destination for corporate and leisure travellers is upheld thanks to the commitments and investments made by our hotel industry,” said Woods.

“The hotel accommodation industry in Perth and regional WA is focused on delivering an exceptional experience that guests will remember, and return for.

“Now, more than ever, it’s imperative that we support our hospitality industry, and recognise the hard work, investment and long hours put into making WA’s venues outstanding,” Woods concluded.

The General Manager of Parmelia Hilton Perth, David Constantine, was inducted into the ‘Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame’, and recognised for his 40 years of service to the hotel industry.
