How the Globus Family of Brands elevates coach touring: Travel Weekly TV with Chris Fundell
Edited by Travel Weekly

This week we caught up with Chris Fundell, the head of marketing for Globus Family of Brands (GFOB) to learn a bit more about his history with travel, and how GFOB is taking coach touring to the next level.

Chris heads up the APAC marketing for Avalon Waterways, Globus and Cosmos, and believes many might not be aware of just how great the touring offerings are, especially with the ways coach touring can be personalised.

“Coach touring has been elevated through the years,” Chris says in this weeks episode.

“I think what a lot of agents may not know is the different touring styles that actually Globus Family of Brands have, we have 12 in total, we have a touring style to suit everyone.

“Something I think is going to get a lot of traction is choice touring… which has brought in elements of our Avalon River Cruise  … and bringing that into the coach touring area,” Fundell continued.

“For example you could be in Scotland, you could choose to go and see a castle, play a round of golf or go whiskey tasting,

“So the group can break off and have different experiences through that one tour.”
