Intrepid Travel has launched a new six-part travel series, Intrepid Adventures, premiering on Channel 10 this Sunday, 8 September.

In partnership with creative production house, Sloane Media and the Moroccan National Tourist Office, the program shifts the spotlight from traditional tourist sights to the local guides and communities that bring each destination to life.

The weekly series, featuring six 22-minute episodes, begins in Morocco’s red city, Marrakech. Viewers will journey from the bustling souks to the stunning Atlas Mountains with Intrepid’s local guides.

Intrepid Travel general manager ANZ, Yvette Thompson, said Intrepid Adventures reveals the heart and soul of each destination through the locals who know it best.

“Morocco is truly a special place. Since the pandemic, we’ve seen a big spike in bookings, and it’s now one of our top-selling destinations worldwide. This series really shows why. Each episode dives deep into the country’s vibrant culture and the untold stories of the locals,” she said.

“Today’s travellers, including myself, are craving those authentic, community-focused experiences, and this series captures that beautifully.”

Intrepid offers more than 30 Morocco trips, including a women’s expedition that offers travellers an experience with the region’s first local female guide.

The series will air for six weeks on Channel 10, every Sunday at 9:30 AM. It will also be available on demand through 10 Play.
