Intrepid launches its first Premium domestic trips

Alert your bougie clients, because Intrepid has launched the first of its local trips under the new Intrepid Premium offering!

The news comes off the back of the adventure travel company’s announcement on Wednesday that the Peregrine Adventures brand will be phased out from January 2022 so Intrepid can free up resources and funding to focuses on extending its higher-end travel options under the Intrepid Premium and Comfort ranges.

The move marked Intrepid’s final step in the consolidation of its consumer-facing business into one brand, following Geckos’ integration into Intrepid’s 18-to-29s range in 2018.

The new range of tours across Australia and New Zealand include a 10-day New Zealand South Island trip, a seven-day journey through New Zealand’s North Island, and a six-day adventure in Australia’s Red Centre.

“These tours are aimed at providing Australian and New Zealand customers with local holidays that they can enjoy despite international border restrictions,” said James Thornton, CEO of Intrepid Group.

“Intrepid Premium trips feature our highest standard of accommodation and best tour leaders, so our message is to book locally, because there are incredible travel experiences right on your doorstep.”

The new trips are available to book now and will depart in January 2022.
