Intrepid Travel offers exclusive deal for agents on Antarctic cruises

Intrepid Travel is offering agents the chance to venture to Antarctica themselves with an unmissable offer.

Agents can revel in the icy wonder of Antarctica with 50 per cent off select voyages, as well as 35 per cent off for their travel companion.

“Our Intrepid agents do an amazing job at promoting and selling our Antarctic voyages, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer them an incredible deal to experience one of the world’s most spellbinding destinations,” GM sales and partnerships (AU/NZ), Intrepid Travel, Yvette Thompson, said.

“Our voyages are perfect for those who want to combine adventure and learning with a touch of comfort.

“With Intrepid, the spirit of the expedition comes first.

“That means we’ll take every opportunity to embrace the adventure – if there’s a whale breaching off the bow or perfect conditions for an onshore landing, we will jump at the opportunity to explore.

“Our ship, the Ocean Endeavour has only 200 travellers onboard, an enviable crew-to-passenger ratio, a great array of citizen science projects for a real hands-on experience, as well as a focus on wellness with a yoga room, gym, day spa, sauna and pool.”

The offer includes three different voyages across four departure dates:

Best of Antarctica: Pristine Wilderness: An 11-day expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula, departing on both 2 and 11 November 2023. Visitors are guided through the unspoiled polar wilderness, with icebergs at their greatest mass and penguins busy courting.

Shackleton’s Antarctica, South Georgia & Falklands Explorer: For the explorers and wildlife enthusiasts, departing on 20 November 2023, this 21-day adventure enables travellers to follow in the footsteps of the heroic polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, spotting the legendary historical sites, as well as more than 250,000 king penguins along the way.

Best of Antarctica: Wildlife Explorer trip: An 11-day voyage departing 9 December 2023. It’s a great time to explore – seal and whale sightings become more frequent as minke, southern right and humpback whales return to Antarctic waters to feed, ensuring extraordinary wildlife viewing opportunities. Penguin rookeries are also at full capacity with penguin chicks beginning to hatch.

If these dates don’t work, Intrepid will continue to offer agents 35 per cent off all 2023-2024 voyages for both themselves, and their companion.
