Is this the most posh hotel to open in Vietnam, ever?

Forget Posh Spice, it’s all about posh Vietnam!

A new hotel is debuting this summer in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, with the lavish lodging hotly anticipated by the likes of CNN and Yahoo Travel reporters.

The Reverie Saigon is one to look out for, with 286 rooms and suites fitted out by four of Italy’s finest interior designers, elaborate chandeliers, jewelled beds and velvet curtains – did someone say luxe?

Oversized, contemporary guestrooms fill floors 27 to 39, boasting floot-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the city and Saigon River.

Cantonese food is dished up by a chef who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in the past, and there’s a dining room with old school Italian chow, affectionately named R&J, after Romeo and Juliet.

Oh and did we mention it’s home to one of the longest bar counters in HCMC, reportedly the length of a city block?

But the signature street rolls out to the street too, and you can arrive in one of the property’s fleet of luxury vehicles including Mercedes, Rolls-Royces and Bentleys, or, if you’re short for time, chopper in — the hotel has its own posh helipad.

Check out the pimped out property below.
