Linkd Tourism has announced the appointment of two new staff members to its Sydney office as Cathy Xu joins as marketing and campaigns manager while Jacey returns as operations and projects manager.

Cathy Xu brings over a decade of experience in strategic brand marketing, digital content, and campaign management. She began her career developing digital strategies for Sydney shopping centres and has since worked with renowned brands like Burberry and Meta. Cathy’s expertise spans influencer marketing, communications, partnerships, and events.

“I am thrilled to join Linkd Tourism in an exciting time of growth and work with our highly creative and strategic team on an incredible lineup of destination partners,” she said.

“After enjoying a 20-month career break to spend time with my young family, pursue personal goals and travel, I was drawn to the team’s diverse, supportive and open culture that genuinely prioritises a work-life balance. I look forward to bringing my marketing experience to an industry fueled by curiosity and creativity.”

Jacey returns to Linkd Tourism as operations and projects manager, bringing over ten years of experience in project management, operations, and technology. Having previously served as general manager for nearly a decade pre-pandemic, Jacey is a familiar face to the team. Her recent roles in the technology and financial services industries have focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions in data analytics, AI, and cloud technology for global clients.

Managing director Kylee Kay said Linkd Tourism was excited to welcome Xu to the team and to have Jacey back.

“Their combined marketing, operations, and technology expertise will be invaluable as we grow and innovate in the tourism industry. These appointments reflect our commitment to providing the highest service to our clients and partners.”
