Los Angeles Tourism launches ‘Hollywood and Celebrity’ travel trade webinar

Travel agents are invited to discover the iconic only-in-LA experiences that make the City of Angels a bucket list destination

To continue educating and engaging travel trade partners across the globe, Los Angeles Tourism is today launching its latest on-demand travel trade webinar, with a special focus on Hollywood and Celebrity.

As the undisputed entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles is a must-visit destination for Australian travellers. This new webinar will showcase the best way for visitors to Los Angeles to get up close and personal to the Hollywood magic, including the hottest spots for celebrity sightings, notable movie and TV filming locations, celebrity guided tours, and the key attractions on Hollywood Boulevard. Viewers can also expect a guide for booking tickets to lesser known experiences, such as live TV tapings, as well as an overview of the studio tours available in Los Angeles.

In addition, the webinar includes an exclusive tour of the all-new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which opened in 2021. Located on Wilshire and Fairfax in the heart of LA, the Academy Museum is the largest institution in the United States devoted to the arts, sciences, and artists of moviemaking, celebrating the past, present and future of filmmaking.

“For visitors with a passion for film, television, and pop culture, Los Angeles’ world-famous and unmatched entertainment industry is part of what makes the city such an iconic destination,” said Craig Gibbons, Managing Director, Asia Pacific.

“With Australian visitation to Los Angeles continuing to climb in 2023, it is the perfect time for travel advisors to educate themselves on the many ways that travellers can have their very own Hollywood experience in the City of Angels.”

This on-demand webinar can be accessed at any time and is the third in a series of travel trade webinars promoting Los Angeles. Travel sellers can visit the Webinar Library to rewatch any of the webinars as needed and keep an eye out for new webinars in the future. Click here to view the webinar.
