Fancy a northern hemisphere festive season, with a bit of US glamour thrown? These luxurious Beverly Hills hotels have “decked the halls” with what may tickle your fancy this Christmas.

The Beverly Hills Hotel, also known as the legendary ‘Pink Palace’, celebrates the holiday season with festive room packages, decor, and delicious bites. Guests can enjoy special dining events at the iconic Polo Lounge, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. From 12-23 December, the hotel offers the beloved ’12 Days of Souffles’, featuring a daily souffle crafted by the in-house executive pastry team, inspired by festive flavours. For children, there are cookie-decorating masterclasses hosted by the pastry team on 18-19 December in the Polo Private.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills

The Peninsula Beverly Hills welcomes guests to experience an enchanting blend of festive decorations, delightful meals, and luxury holiday shopping. The transformed lobby comes alive with holiday cheer, featuring carolers (20-24 December), a visit from Santa (on Christmas Eve), and the Polar Bear Gift Shop (1-26 December).

Holiday highlights include a Christmas Eve Dinner at The Belvedere with a three-course menu on 24 December, Festive Afternoon Tea, with a Thanksgiving version offered throughout November and a Christmas-themed tea from 1-31 December, featuring Laurent Perrier Champagne, one-of-a-kind teas, and a tower of sweet and savory treats.

The hotel also offers exclusive holiday room experiences, including ‘Holiday Tea & Hollywood Style’ with celebrity stylist Catherine Bloom in the comfort of one’s luxurious suite while enjoying The Peninsula’s signature Afternoon Tea. There is also the ‘A Merry Peninsula Holiday’ package, which features a decorated Christmas tree in one’s guest room to create the perfect Beverly Hills holiday. Finally, ‘The Twelve Days of Peninsula’ brings international flavours to life with holiday sweets representing each of the 12 Peninsula hotels worldwide in the days leading up to Christmas.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills

The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is celebrating the holiday season with a series of festive meals, treats, and events from Thanksgiving through to New Year’s.

Throughout November, guests can indulge in holiday confections, including handmade pies like Pumpkin, Spiced Apple, and Chocolate Pecan. On 3 December, children can participate in a gingerbread house decorating event, with the chance to display their creations in the lobby throughout the month.

The hotel also offers a Holiday Afternoon High Tea on select weekends in December in the Lobby Lounge, featuring creative confections, a variety of teas, and live harp music. Hanukkah delights will be marked with traditional latkes and caviar at The Rooftop Beverly Hills, available throughout the holiday.

Christmas festive meals include: a 3-course menu at The Rooftop on Christmas Eve and Christmas and a Christmas Day buffet at Espelette with chef-led action stations, live music, and a visit from Santa. Espelette Beverly Hills is set to host a New Year’s Eve disco-themed party while, The Rooftop Beverly Hills offers an la carte brunch and a 3-course dinner, blending the flavours of the East and West.

The Maybourne Beverly Hills

The Maybourne Beverly Hills offers a full festive calendar from Thanksgiving through to New Year’s Eve, featuring a range of holiday experiences.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 12-23 December, guests can enjoy a Festive Afternoon Tea with seasonal flavours, treats, and a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne. On 21 December, children can participate in a Gingerbread House Decorating Class led by the in-house pastry team

Holiday decor lights up at the hotel and Beverly Canon Gardens, with nightly menorah lighting ceremonies in the lobby during Hanukkah. From 1-24 December, the hotel features a Whisky of the Day Advent Calendar on Instagram and available at The Whisky Bar and The Maybourne Bar.

Families can also enjoy outdoor Festive Movie Nights on the Garden Terrace. The Terrace will host Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners, as well as Christmas Day brunch, adorned with snowy white linens, golden lights and soaring archways, providing a picture-perfect backdrop for a true holiday feast. On Christmas Day, Santa Claus will visit, offering hot chocolate and holiday treats. Finally, guests can ring in 2025 with a decadent four-course New Year’s Eve dinner, featuring caviar-topped canapes and a glass of champagne.
