The travel industry has gone wild after Experience Abu Dhabi has launched a new campaign film featuring none other than national treasure Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky. The film is part of a two-year partnership.

In the hilarious video, Hemsworth and Pataky are filming a scene from an action movie when the director calls cut and leaves the duo hanging precariously from a building with Hemsworth clinging onto Pataky’s feet.

Hemsworth proclaims that he could “really use a vacation right now”. He goes on to list the things he wants in a destination such as “somewhere hot” and “maybe a rollercoaster” whilst videos of Hemsworth, Pataky, and family enjoying their travels in Abu Dhabi are shown.

A huge shout out to an amazing team who moved mountains to make this campaign happen. The power of collaboration shines bright within our teams and with our partners, and it’s a delight to see. That said they all deserve a vacation right now.”

The travel industry was delighted with the campaign, with one person commenting “Unreal Em! Fantastic and so informative about the experiences, as well as being so distinctive. Brilliant!”

Another enthusiastically said: “Where can I book?”

Commenting on the ad, Hemworths said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Experience Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi’s got everything we love all in one place. The adventures have left us with amazing memories that will last a lifetime – you can tell how special it was since the kids didn’t want to leave.

“We’ve loved everything about the culture, the people and the experiences. It’s a place where we can unwind, and relax, with the feeling of being at home. We’ve travelled the world, but Abu Dhabi has captured our hearts. We’re already planning for our next trip!”
