Mennan Yelkenci launches beta version of AI travel agent, approved by IATA

Australian serial entrepreneur Mennan Yelkenci has launched the beta version of Booked.AI, an AI-powered travel agent.

The AI agent is the first to receive IATA Registered Travel Agent accreditation which means it can directly sell and manage travel bookings.

Booked AI will handle end-to-end recommendations for flights and hotels. There are plans to expand this to include rideshares and restaurant reservations too.

Yelkenci is known for founding Tierra Consulting Group. This is the first time he is moving his attentions to travel.

“We saw a huge gap in the market for a smarter, more personalised way to book and manage travel. Travelers need more than just search results – they need actionable, curated experiences at their fingertips, and Booked AI delivers exactly that,” Yelkenci said.

Booked AI has been specifically developed to capture the 25-45 year-old travel market.

“We are building the future of travel, and our beta launch is just the beginning. Our vision is to create an AI travel agent that not only simplifies the booking process but enhances the entire journey,” said Yelkenci.
