Myconian Collection welcomes back destination weddings and honeymoons

Luxury hotel group, Myconian Collection, has announced that its wedding team have destination weddings and honeymoons back following international travel restrictions dropping.

Myconian Collection has a collection of 11 boutique hotels across Mykonos, ranging from Design Hotels to a Small Luxury Hotels of the World location.

“We have delivered memorable, perfectly organised events for people from all over the world – from Korea to Brazil, Europe to South Africa, Israel to India, China and Japan to Australia,” Elena Pantzou, MICE coordinator at Myconian Collection, said.

“We have developed long-standing relationships with professionals with proven track records, from specialist photographers to designers, fireworks technicians, musicians and DJs, and we pride ourselves on not just knowing every wedding client is unique – but so are each of their individual guests – so we strive to anticipate their every need before it’s even expressed.

“No matter how big or small your event is, from the moment you contact us, we will work continuously to bring your ideas to life, taking care of everything from preparation to last-minute details – which means you can relax and focus on the things that really matter.”

Destination weddings have been incredibly tricky over the past two years, with many cancelled completely during 2020 and many getting rescheduled during 2021.

But with the borders reopened, Myconian Collection reported that couples are increasingly looking to splurge on a destination wedding, with Mykonos a firm favourite.

The group said that its wedding team embraces global celebrations and specialised traditions, respecting and honouring the wishes of couples and families from all around the world.

“Whether it’s creating menus featuring classic Indian spices and flavours prepared by our South Asian chef to creating a beautiful wedding ‘mandap’ worthy of a Bollywood dream or organising highly skilled artists to create exquisite Mehndi, our team has the little black book to make it happen,” Christiana Alevetsoviti, MICE Coordinator at Myconian Collection, said.

Myconian Collections beach properties include the Myconian Avaton, Myconian Imperial, Panoptis Escape, Royal Myconian, Myconian Utopia and Villa Collection.
