New Caledonia sponsors Alliance Française French Film Festival

New Caledonia Tourism and the Government of New Caledonia are once again proud sponsors of the Alliance Française French Film Festival which kicked off last week.

The Alliance Française French Film Festival is the biggest French film festival in the world outside of France and a leading French cultural event in Australia.

For all Francophiles and Australians who cannot wait to experience ‘un petit peu’ of French culture, here is a wonderful opportunity to do so (especially with the current weather!).

New Caledonia, Australia’s next-door neighbour, at less than 3 hours from Sydney, will be showcased to an audience of approx 200,000 Australians with a 30 seconds clip “New Caledonia, Coming Soon” as entry restrictions to the French Pacific Destination are likely to be lifted imminently.

An amazing archipelago and holiday destination thanks to its combination of unique Melanesian history, exotic South Pacific charm and cosmopolitan French chic. Surrounded by the largest lagoon in the world, New Caledonia is famous for its variety of landscapes, cultures, and unique biodiversity.

The 33rd edition of the annual Festival showcases dramas, romantic comedies, thrillers, documentaries and feel-good, family-friendly films celebrating the best of French cinema and storytelling.
