nib Travel announces major prize winner in $10,000 Cash Splash promotion
Edited by Travel Weekly

Teresa Musico, from Helloworld Travel Camden, is the major $5,000 prize winner of Nib Travel’s $10,000 Cash Splash trade promotion.

The three-month promotion is the first time nib Travel has run an incentive of this scale and size with partners.

The Cash Splash trade promotion encouraged nib Travel’s partners to dive into a pool of prizes, simply by doing what they do best – making travel dreams come true – with nib Travel insurance beside them and their travellers.

nib Travel offered 26 cash prizes; agents could go into the draw each fortnight to win $800 cash, or one of four $50 e-gift cards. The final promotion period ramped up to give agents the opportunity to win the major prize draw of $5,000.

Teresa Musico with nib Travel’s Alli Tickle and Jonny Walters.

“We are thrilled with the response from our agency partners, with each consecutive fortnight driving a record number of agents engaging in the promotion,” nib’s chief executive and head of travel, Rob Hennin, said.

“Nationally, we had a fantastic response, with more entrants every fortnight, which represents great support from across our national footprint of partners.

“The promotion celebrated the strength of the unwavering relationships we hold with our national network of travel agents,” he said.

nib is Australia’s third largest provider of travel insurance. Through its global footprint, with offices in Ireland, Australia, and the United States, nib provides travellers with insurance cover 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
