Passenger rescued from overhead baggage compartment after severe turbulence shakes Air Europa flight

Air Europa has become the most recent carrier forced into an emergency landing after turbulence shook one of its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft leaving dozens injured.

Footage posted on ‘X’ shows one passenger being helped out of the overhead baggage compartment after the incident.

The flight left Madrid at 11:57pm on Sunday with 325 passengers on board on a flight scheduled to arrive in Montevideo on Monday morning.
