Pier One Sydney Harbour is bringing back its Glass Rooms this time in collaboration with TikTok eye candy Pottery Boy, Guy Vadas.

The Glass Rooms are a pop up on Pier One’s luxury Balcony Suites, set against views of Sydney Harbour. The domes are an extension of the suites and have been design with neutral, warm interior in collaboration with Guy Vadas and featuring his own ceramic designs.

“I’m looking forward to bringing these incredible spaces to life. Ceramics is such a wholesome winter activity, and to spend it by the beautiful harbour is such a treat,” Vadas said.

This year, guests will also be able to book packages that will allow them to try their hands at pottery and experience private guided ceramic classes from the Pottery Boy himself.

The experience is bookable from Thursday 23 May to Sunday 29 September.

There are also two different experiences as part of the Glass Rooms on offer, The Luxe Lounge Suite and The Soiree Suite.

The Luxe Lounge Suite features a double bed within the Glass House, offering the ultimate sleepout beneath the stars, right on the water at Sydney Harbour. With a number of scatter stools within the Glass Room itself, The Luxe Lounge Suite can host up to 12 people for group bookings with seating for eight guests. The suite is available to then sleep out two guests.

The Soiree Suite is the ultimate way to celebrate with friends, boasting a space that seats 8 and accommodates up to 12 guests. With the same green and neutral toned styling, the Soiree Suite offers guests an opportunity to come together and experience a unique activity to enjoy in the colder winter months through a number of interactive package add-ons. These are perfect way to celebrate social get-togethers, birthday parties, hens parties and more.

Groups of 8+ can book in for a DIY Ceramic Experience in the Glass Room, where they can create their own ceramic pieces with provided clay and tools, guided by Vadas through an instruction sheet and short tutorial video.

Groups of up to 10 people can also book in for a VIP Clay package where Vadas will host an interactive 90-minute private class to guide the group through their pottery-making.

Share plates and cocktails are also available throughout the experience, including plus quintessential Aussie snacks including Jatz crackers, Shapes, Tim Tims and Finger Lamingtons.
