Qantas launches huge international flight sale, offering 400k discounted seats
Edited by Travel Weekly

Qantas has launched its biggest international flight sale in the last year, offering 400,000 discounted seats across nearly its entire global network.

The sale opens up access to nearly 30 international destinations, including popular spots across Asia, the Americas, the United Kingdom, and the Pacific.

The news follows a 72-hour flash sale at the end of last month.

One million discounted seats on offer as Qantas puts 100 domestic routes on sale for 72 hours

“Nearly 10 million Australians travelled overseas last financial year, and as the demand continues to grow, we’re making it even easier for customers to explore the world with our major international sale,” Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace said.

“Almost every destination on our international network is included in the sale, so whether you’re looking for a long weekend getaway to Bali, or a longer break in London or New York, there is something for everyone.

“We have also discounted some of our newest destinations, including Palau, which has generated huge interest since its launch, as well as our some of our most popular routes like Japan and Bali. The sale is a fantastic opportunity for travellers to snap up some great deals and start planning their next international adventure.”

For the next week, travellers can take advantage of savings on over 50 routes, with highlights including flights to Bali, London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York, and the newly introduced destination of Palau.

Qantas is also promoting two new routes: the Melbourne to Honolulu service is set to commence on 1 May and the Darwin to Singapore route is expected to take off on 30 March.

Fares start from AU$499 return in economy, with select travel dates available through to January 2026 – including peak travel times such as school holidays. Frequent flyers can also benefit, as the discounted seats qualify for booking as Classic Plus Flight Rewards, allowing savvy travellers to utilise their points for extra savings.

Qantas fares include checked baggage and complimentary food and beverages as part of the airline’s commitment to providing an enjoyable travel experience. The sale runs until 11:59 PM AEDT on Monday, 10 February, 2025, unless sold out prior.
