Rail Online reveals unrivalled Trenitalia fares to agents
Edited by Travel Weekly

Rail Online has announced an unprecedented range of B2B Trenitalia fares delivering price reductions for agents on a range of products.

Savings of up to 70 per cent will be available on high-speed Frecce journeys, discounts of up to 60 per cent for groups of three to five people, and 50 per cent rate cuts when two people travel as a pair.

In addition to the Frecce Special, Together and Me&You fares, agents can now use Rail Online’s platform to secure free fares for children under 15 years of age on Trenitalia’s InterCity trains (with adults enjoying a 40 per cent discount) and a range of Super Economy Fares in all classes of travel, delivering savings of up to 40 per cent on base fares.

Eurail Pass holders can also book seat reservations on Trenitalia’s high-speed trains.

General manager Kirsty Blows says that Rail Online‘s relationship with Trenitalia has opened an unrivalled B2B portal to discounted inventory.

“With the added bonus that all fares offered through the Rail Online platform are priced in Australian/New Zealand dollars, and agents can self-manage all itinerary amendments,” Blows, said.

As well as the wide range of special Trenitalia fares, Rail Online offers a comprehensive selection of popular Italian rail journeys, including:

  • Leonardo Express avoids traffic on a 30-minute journey between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Rome Termini (or vice versa)
  • Malpensa Express – just EUR13 to travel between Milan Malpensa Airport and Milan Central
  • SWISS Trenitalia International Services – a fast and spectacularly scenic way to travel directly between Milan/Como and Zurich/Spiez/Bern.
