Rodd & Gunn has celebrated the grand reopening of The Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand, after an extensive renovation breathed new life into the iconic venue.

The venue first opened in August 2016, serving delicious cuisine and offering cocktail options. The refurbishment infused modern design elements while still honouring the familiar essence of the brand’s spiritual home.

Standout additions include the bespoke bar, featuring intricate timber details, a striking black marble bar top, a pressed steel bar face, aged smoke mirror, and polished brass highlights. It provides the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail, crafted with the finest local distilleries of the South Island.

The newly expanded commercial-grade kitchen produced a refreshing dining menu, with executive chef Matt Lambert at the helm. And complementing the world-class dining options with local wines is New Zealand’s one and only Master Sommelier, Cameron Douglas.

Guests can enjoy an elegant dinner, cocktails at the bar, of fine wine and snacks as The Lodge Queenstown caters to all preferences with its warm and inviting atmosphere.
