Sail Croatia boosts Elegance capacity from three to five ships for 2025
Edited by Travel Weekly

Sail Croatia has announced it is adding luxury small ships to its Elegance fleet for 2025 with the arrival of the 36-berth MS Romantic Star and MS Katarina.

These changes bring their Elegance fleet to five luxury small ships, with 119 cruise departures scheduled for 2025, a 60 per cent increase compared to 2024.

“Our most luxurious ships operate on Elegance Cruises,” co-founder and director of Sail Croatia, Helle Seuren, said.

“These cruises are aimed at couples and mature travellers looking to experience an authentic side of Croatia. Mornings are spent relaxing onboard or swimming in one of the beautiful coves along the Croatian coast, and afternoons and evenings are free to spend exploring historic seaside towns. From the remarkable Blue Cave in Vis to Diocletian’s Palace in Split, a multitude of experiences await.

“The addition of two new ships complements our existing Elegance fleet, and I have no doubt they will prove a popular choice for 2025. Katarina has already made a strong debut on our Explorer Cruises this year, with guests marvelling at her luxurious furnishings and high customer service standards onboard.”

The 47-metre Romantic Star was built in 2016 and can accommodate 36 passengers in 18 ensuite cabins. As well as featuring a spacious top deck complete with Jacuzzi, the ship offers multiple lounge areas to relax and unwind, as well as plenty of sun loungers for guests to chill out on as they sail to their next destination.

For the 2025 season, Romantic Star will operate 26 departures on a variety of Elegance itineraries between Split and Dubrovnik, including several Wine Cruises and World Heritage themed departures.

Elegance Cruises include accommodation in a twin or double ensuite cabin, daily breakfast and lunch, welcome reception, captain’s dinner, local village dinner plus return airport transfers.
