Santa baby, there’s a discounted trip to Lapland this Christmas for two, who knew?

Ground handling area at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport. The airport handled 327,190 aircraft movements in FY 2013-14.

Lapland is known for its beautiful winter landscapes, with snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, and picturesque villages, but the biggest lure of all according to Finnish folklore is that Santa Claus lives in Lapland, specifically in the gateway town of Rovaniemi.

If meeting Santa is on the family bucket list for 2023, now is the time to book ahead and save. In a promotion that ends on 22 May 2023, Adventure World is offering Christmas in Lapland packages for 5 days / 4 nights from AU$3319/NZ$3619pp twin share, with one departure on 23 December 2023.

The exact location of Santa’s home is blocked out on Google Maps for safety reasons.

Trip inclusions cover most meals, airport transfers, accommodation and attractions. Start with a trip to Santa Claus Village, where visitors can meet Santa Claus himself
and visit the Santa Claus Main Post Office, where guests can send postcards and letters with a special Santa Claus postmark to family and friends back home.

Get a taste of snowmobiling on a scenic safari through the Arctic Circle forest, and wind down in the wilderness with a visit to a reindeer farm for a sleigh ride, with spectacular views of the snowcovered landscapes. Full details of the packages can be found on the Adventure World website.

With spaces limited over Christmas, travellers are advised to book in the promotional period, ending 22 May 2023, to secure a spot on this Lapland Christmas itinerary.
