Silversea launches ‘game changing’ training platform – ‘Academy’

Silversea has unveiled a brand new training platform dedicated to its valued travel advisors known as ‘Silversea Academy”.

Described as a game-changing tool, the training focuses on delivering quick and impactful learning experiences through concise modules that can be completed on the go.

Silversea Academy features a diverse range of product, destination, and ship modules that will be continuously updated with the latest Silversea offerings, ensuring agents stay at the forefront of industry knowledge.

Cruise Lines International Association Managing Director in Australasia Joel Katz said CLIA members would earn 10 CLIA points for each certificate they received through the Silversea Academy.

“Cruising is going through a renaissance worldwide, so taking advantage of education opportunities is essential for travel agents looking to ride the wave and maximise their cruise opportunities,” Katz, said.

“Education and training are the keys to success, so CLIA is delighted to recognise the efforts of travel agents who take part in the Silversea Academy.”

Silversea Academy Key Features:

  • Flexible Learning: Travel advisors can complete courses at their own pace and convenience.
  • Expansive Course Library: With over 20 courses currently available, and more to come, agents will find a wealth of valuable information to bolster their skillset.
  • Showcase Achievements: Earn new certifications to display in email signatures and gain recognition as a Classic Ocean-Going, Expedition, and Ultra-Luxury Specialist.
  • Digital Badges: Each completed course rewards agents with digital badges to proudly showcase their accomplishments on websites and email signatures.
  • 10 CLIA points for each certificate received.

Incentives for AU/NZ Travel Agents:

Earn up to $450 Bonus Commission! To celebrate the Silversea Academy launch, travel agents in Australia can earn up to $300 in bonus commission.

Complete all three certifications and confirm up to three bookings by 30th September 2023 to qualify.
