Singapore Airlines has reopened its SilverKris Lounge at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, following a six-month long refurbishment program.

The modernised airport lounge features state-of-the-art fixtures and furnishings that offer customers more seating space, luxury, and comfort.

“Singapore Airlines’ all-new SilverKris Lounge at London Heathrow offers customers a refreshed, spacious, and welcoming environment,” Singapore Airlines general manager UK and Ireland, Mohamed Rafi Mar, said.

The new lounge comprises an exclusive First-Class Lounge and separate Business Class Lounge, open daily from 5.30am to 10pm. With an increased capacity of 242 customers, the new lounge features a host of seating options such as private productivity pods, stylish wingback chairs, and spacious long table seats. The lounge was designed to offer customers a sense of home, by offering distinct personal spaces as well as personalised service.

“From new furnishings to extra seating options, there are thoughtful touches throughout. Our lounge has been optimised to create a well-balanced space, whether you are working, relaxing, or spending time with your family, loved ones or colleagues ahead of flying. This is part of our continued commitment to offering an unrivalled travel experience, and we look forward to welcoming customers through our doors,” Rafi Mar said.

The lounge also offers numerous charging points, 75-inch widescreen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an iconic Batik feature wall that makes for the perfect photography backdrop.

Customers can choose from a la carte or made-to-order dishes from a newly designed menu, alongside a buffet service. The new menu includes customer favorites such as Singaporean Laksa and Hainanese chicken rice. It also features Western options such as full English breakfast and spinach cannelloni. Wine and soft drinks are also served all day long.

The new Business Class Lounge has a revamped cocktail bar that offers elegant seating for up to 10 customers. Customers can order their choice of wines, Rodier champagne, and cocktails, including the famous Singapore Sling from the bartender.

Travellers looking to freshen up before their flights can also take advantage of the overhauled washrooms with showers, there are two in the First Class and four in the Business Class Lounge.
