The culinary capital of Singapore comes alive this October with the Singapore Food Festival (SFF) and features a host of unforgettable culinary experiences.

Running for the entire month of October, the SFF has been reimagined with bespoke multi-genre events, ranging from the large-scale to the boutique. All of which celebrates the role of dining in Singapore’s culture through food and entertainment.

A highlight of SFF 2024 is its Signature Events, with the first two already announced.

Future Food, 10 October, Marquee

Guests are transported to a world of infinite possibilities as they experience a fusion of culinary mastery, mixology, gastronomy, and world-class entertainment. They will also be immersed in an experience of vibrant colours, pulsating soundscapes, and a dazzling display of lights in an immersive theatrical experience that engages all the senses.

The Long Table, 17 to 18 October, CHIJMES Hall

Set in the historic chapel hall of CHIJMES, The Long Table event invites guests to a celebration of enchantment and elegance. Guests relish in a four-course culinary journey (lunch or dinner) prepared by some of Singapore’s top heritage and contemporary chefs. The event promises an unforgettable experience with enchanting live singers, projections, and life-sized props.

This year’s festival theme is A Celebration of Old and New, which is built around the three core pillars, Heritage, Contemporary, and Innovation. It celebrates the full spectrum of Singapore’s culinary history.

“The reimagined Singapore Food Festival 2024 presents an opportunity to captivate global food enthusiasts with an immersive showcase of Singapore’s dynamic F&B scene,” Singapore Tourism Board director of retail & dining, Guo Teyi, said.

“This year, with a renewed and deliberate emphasis on curating unparalleled experiences, the festival aims to pay homage to our diverse culinary tapestry while embracing and celebrating continued innovation championed by our local talents.”

BHE founder and Singapore Food Festival 2024 festival director, Blake Harris, said: “We’ve been creating exceptional experiences and entertainment here in Singapore for some time now, and we’re delighted to partner with Singapore Tourism Board to further strengthen and reinforce Singapore Food Festival as a globally recognised event that showcases the best local chefs, restaurants and flavours.

“Food is life in Singapore and without a doubt a favourite pastime for many. We are excited to create something very special to make dining even more of an experience for local foodies and international visitors, who are spoilt for choice with Singapore’s multitude of gastronomic options. We look forward to embarking on this journey with STB to create unforgettable moments starting in 2024.”
