Slojourn Studio has announced a partnership with Song Saa Private Island, an iconic high-end responsible resort in Cambodia’s Koh Rong Archipelago, known for its commitment to sustainability and regenerative travel practices.

Built upon the blueprint of the Song Saa Foundation, which has served communities and preserved the environment in the Koh Rong Archipelago and beyond for over a decade, the resort has long been admired as a beacon of regenerative travel.

“More than simply a beautiful resort with a sustainability slant, the entire Song Saa Private Island brand has philanthropy at the core of its story,” Slojourn Studio co-director Tess Wilcox said.

“We have long admired the brand for its earth-first ethos and community engagement.

“In fact, they have been on our ‘dream client’ list since they opened in 2012. Partnering with them is a natural fit for Slojourn Studio, as both brands strongly believe in the transformative power of travel when coupled with environmental stewardship.”

Slojourn Studio will leverage its expertise in sustainable tourism marketing and PR to support Song Saa Private Island in enhancing its brand visibility and communicating its plethora of ethical initiatives effectively.

Offering a sanctuary amidst pristine natural surroundings, Song Saa Private Island embodies purposeful design. Constructed with reclaimed timber and materials from the mainland, its physical attributes reflect the brand’s dedication to sustainability, seamlessly blending with the natural beauty of the Cambodian coastline.

Each villa is a private sanctuary, featuring thatched roofs, linen-draped canopy beds, up-cycled décor, and locally sourced materials, including salvaged wood and repurposed furniture. Culinary offerings highlight locally sourced ingredients, such as seasonal fruits and vegetables and rice from wildlife-friendly farmers.

“We are excited to embark on this journey with Song Saa Private Island,” added Willcox.

“Together, we aim to inspire and educate travellers about the importance of regenerative travel practices, while also highlighting the beauty and exquisite experiential travel opportunity that Song Saa Private Island offers.”

“For media or digital partners with relevant opportunities or interests, we invite you to reach out and explore collaboration potential with Slojourn Studio and Song Saa Private Island. Together, we can amplify the message of transformative travel experiences.”
