South African Airways (SAA) has released Black Friday deals from Perth to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

The Black Friday sales dates are from 26 November to 2 December 2024 with travel dates from 20 January to 31 May 2025.

All-inclusive fares between Perth and Johannesburg start at AU$1,685, including fuel surcharge and taxes. All-inclusive fares from Perth to Cape Town, Durban, and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) start at AU$1,825, including fuel surcharge and taxes.

SAA is responding to increasing demand by boosting the frequency of its nonstop flights between Perth and Johannesburg. Effective 8 December 2024, SAA increased the frequency of its nonstop service from Perth to Johannesburg to four flights per week, with a further increase to five flights per week beginning 7 January 2025.

Beginning 7 December 2024, flights depart Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and arrive in Perth the following day. An additional flight departs Johannesburg on Mondays beginning 6 January 2025.

From 8 December 2024, flights depart Perth Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and arrive in Johannesburg the following day. An additional flight departs Perth on Tuesday beginning 7 January 2025.

Due to a schedule review of its Perth route, the change assists connecting customers from New Zealand with same day connections now possible, in both directions, to Air New Zealand flights between Auckland and Perth.
