Star Clippers offers high-speed Starlink Internet on all ships
Edited by Travel Weekly

Star Clippers, the renowned tall ship cruise line, embraces connectivity at sea as it partners with SpaceX’s Starlink to bring high-speed internet to their ships.

Both guests and crew will now be able to stay connected to the internet even in the most remote corners of the globe on Star Clippers ships. This is made possible with Starlink’s advanced Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology that ensures a consistently strong signal wherever you are.

“We are thrilled to be at the forefront of innovation,” owner and president of Star Clippers, Mikael Krafft, said.

“The rollout of Starlink on board our ships is a pivotal move for the company in recognising the importance of dependable connectivity whilst at sea.

“Our sailing ships are amongst the most authentic and unique vessels in the world, visiting smaller and remote ports of call, but ensuring our guests and crew can remain in touch with loved ones back home – whilst also enhancing our operational systems on board – is our priority.”

Star Clippers’ majestic ships offer a unique blend of classic sailing charm and modern amenities. Explore hidden harbors and untouched ports inaccessible to larger vessels.

Relax on expansive teak decks, unwind by the pool, and savour delicious meals in an intimate setting. All three ships boast attentive service, comfortable accommodations, and a relaxed atmosphere – the perfect recipe for an unforgettable escape.
