Edited by Travel Weekly

Stuba recently hosted a group of VIP travel partners from across New Zealand and Australia to the stunning island of Fiji for five days.

Accompanying the agents, Rebecca Day, head of sales (APAC) at Stuba, ensured the group experienced the beauty, luxury, and hospitality of some of Fiji’s top resorts, solidifying its reputation as a prime destination for the region.

“It was an absolute pleasure to host such a fantastic group in Fiji. We had an incredible time exploring the island together, from stunning beaches to luxurious properties,” Day said.

“This trip truly highlighted the beauty of Fiji and the quality experiences our travel partners can offer their clients. But it was also a chance to foster closer ties with key partners in the travel industry and spend some quality time with each other in beautiful surroundings. This is the first of our VIP trips, and we will be hosting more in the future in other key destinations.”

VIPs joined from some of the region’s leading agencies including Travel Managers, Travel Advocates, RAA, Luxury Escapes, iTravel, Helloworld and MTA.

The itinerary was packed with exciting activities and exclusive tours, starting with visits to the Intercontinental Fiji Resort, Crowne Plaza Fiji, Shangri-La Fiji Resort, Hilton Doubletree and the Hilton Fiji Resort, where guests enjoyed the Coral Coast, Natadola Beach, Sonasali Island and more.

In addition to the resort visits, the group enjoyed a special lunch with Tourism Fiji, with CEO Brent Hill and Executive Director of regions, Robert Thompson joining the group to discuss the island’s tourism trends and future growth of the region over delicious Fijian cuisine.

From crystal-clear waters to high-end resorts, every moment underscored why Fiji remains a top choice for travellers from Australia and New Zealand.

Whilst staying at the Shangri-La Fiji Resort, the group built a fish house which demonstrated how to help preserve marine life. The group also enjoyed some downtime and great weather over the course of the trip.
