Golf tourism in Vietnam is booming, and with stunning courses like Laguna Lang Co along the coast just north of Da Nang, it’s no wonder why!

Laguna Golf Lang Co is one of the draws burnishing the global reputation of Central Vietnam, an area that is now established as one of Asia’s most prized golf destinations.

The region, marketed as the Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC), has emerged as a hub for golf travel in Asia thanks to an array of layouts designed by luminaries including European legends Faldo, Luke Donald (Ba Na Hills Golf Club), and Colin Montgomerie (Montgomerie Links), as well as other huge names like Greg Norman and Robert Trent Jones Jr.

In October last year, Vietnam was recognised as Asia’s best golf destination for the seventh year in a row at the World Golf Awards. Ha Noi was also honoured as the World’s Best Golf City Destination at the same awards.

Banyan Tree Lăng Cô is one of the hotel’s cashing in on the golf wave.

With 290 luxurious offerings beside the idyllic waters of the East Sea and below the rugged Truong Son mountain range and is attached to the golf course at Laguna Golf Lang Co it is a luxury option for golf fanatics.

The hotel offers a range of options from three-bedroom sea view villas with a private pool to the honeymoon-like suites that are the Beach Villa, each with unique beauty though bound by the incredible attention to detail that Banyan is renowned for.

Banyan Tree Lăng Cô: The treasure of central Vietnam

Threading between trees, over rice paddies and streams, through rock features and alongside the pounding surf, Banyan Tree Lăng Cô’ – designed by UK great Sir Nick Faldo – is tricky to categorise. One thing that everybody agrees on though is the sheer visual manna on offer at the course, which is nestled between mountains and the ocean.

“We are thrilled to unveil these incredible new images of our course,” fellow of the PGA and Director of Golf at Laguna Golf Lang Co, Stephen Banks said about new images by photographer Patrick Koenig.

“Patrick Koenig’s work captures the essence of Laguna Golf Lang Co, reflecting our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings while delivering an exceptional golfing experience.”
