Sydney Airport is set to host its 2024 Jobs Fair, offering a range of exciting opportunities in the aviation sector as it aims to serve 2 billion passengers by 2040.

This year’s Jobs Fair will feature more than 30 of the airport’s largest employers, including major airlines, retailers, government agencies and terminal service providers.

Prospective employees will have the chance to meet representatives from organisations including Qantas, Virgin Australia, Certis, Australian Border Force, Heinemann Oceania, Australian Federal Police and Plaza Premium Lounge Australia.

Attendees can apply for jobs on the spot, with hundreds of positions available.

Sydney Airport CEO Scott Charlton said: “We’re looking forward to hosting our third annual Jobs Fair at Sydney Airport, which is a key part of our strategy to attract top talent and ensure we deliver the level of service and efficiency passengers should expect from Australia’s global gateway.

“As a major employer, Sydney Airport plays a crucial role in supporting the local community. In 2023, we contributed $39.8 billion to the economy and supported 314,600 full-time equivalent jobs. The success of our airport is directly tied to the dedication and skill of our workforce, and this Jobs Fair underscores our commitment to building a world-class team for the future.”

The Sydney Airport Jobs Fair will take place on Wednesday, 28 August, 10am-4pm on Level 3 of the T1 International Terminal.
