Tauck launches four new European land tours for 2025

Tauck launches four new European land tours for 2025
Edited by Travel Weekly

In celebration of its 100th anniversary and 35 years of operating tour is Europe, Tauck has launched four new land journeys in Italy, Switzerland, France and England.

“Tauck will be 100-years-young in 2025, but we’re certainly not slowing down in any way,” Tauck CEO, Dan Mahar, said. “In fact, our commitment to innovating and enhancing our global portfolio of land tours, river cruises, small ship ocean cruises, and Tauck Bridges family adventures is stronger than ever.”

The four new tours come amid an increase in Tauck’s European business, as it remains the company’s most popular destination. Data indicates that bookings for 2025 have shown double-digit growth, percentage-wise, compared to the same time in the previous year. In total, Tauck will offer 39 land tours to Europe in 2025, including five itineraries designed specifically for families.

Tauck has also actively reduced the average group size of its land tours, with the introduction of its popular Small Group departures of 24 guests on average. More recently, they have also introduced the Smaller Group trips with an average of 15 guests each. The reduced group sizes enable guests to enjoy more intimate and interactive engagement within the destination and have access to people, places, and experiences unavailable to larger groups.

Also for 2025, the company is increasing its shoulder season departures by 50 per cent, primarily during October and November. CEO Dan Mahar noted that this period presents a wonderful time to visit Europe with cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and an abundance in wine with the annual grape harvest.

“Expanding our shoulder season departures – and hosting more of our guests in Europe during the spring and fall – is a true win-win that benefits everyone,” said Mahar.
