Terror attack hits Air France-KLM hard
By admin

The Paris terror attack on November 13 caused Air France-KLM to lose 70 million euros ($A108.98 million) in December, the Franco-Dutch airline says.

The December 2015 Traffic report said that the impact was particularly felt in the “load factor for both North America and Asia networks, notably Japan routes”.

In December, the total group passenger activity rose by 1.1 per cent compared to the same month in 2014, while the load factor fell by 0.2 per cent to be 82.9 per cent.

Air France-KLM transported a total of 6.7 million passengers in December last year.

Group traffic increased in 2015 by three per cent, while the number of passengers amounted to 89,821,000.
